Mindfulness has been shown to be effective for eliminating Test Anxiety, Performance Anxiety, Educational Stress, Social Stress and Social Anxiety, Emotional Sensitivity, Depression Symptoms, and for reducing aggression and violence. Research has also demonstrated it is effective for improving Physical and Mental Performance Abilities, Sustained Concentration and Focusing, Mental Power, Self-confidence, Willpower, Stress Resiliency… in general Mindfulness and Biofeedback are clearly established to be the most effective treatments for anxiety, apprehension, and emotional problems, and to be effective at increasing mental abilities from demanding mental tasks to athletic endeavors.

Both Mindfulness and Biofeedback have strong scientific foundations. Searching the U.S. National Institutes of Health Database on Medical Research (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed) for “mindfulness” finds 4,176 research articles published since 1980. Of those, 2367 have been published in the last three years. The success and effectiveness of mindfulness has caused an explosion of interest and research. Similarly, searching for “biofeedback” finds 11,775 research articles since 1954, of which 2,103 have been published in the last three years.

The student receives real time feedback about his stress/relaxation level while training in Mindfulness. Through the guidance of a personal trainer, the student learns how to handle stress and improve performance. This technique makes it easy to learn self-regulation and how to activate the autonomic nervous system’s relaxation response.
